Adult Dog Class: Saturday at 9:00am – 10:00am

6 one hour sessions that focuses on ‘adolescent’ issues for owners of dogs between 6 months and 1 year. Learn how to coach/guide/support your dog through this difficult period. Address behavior problems such at jumping/barking, among others. $100

Temperament:

On Leash Dog Social Skills, Sit, Down, Come, Leave it, Loose Leash Walking, Proper Greetings, Link to handouts

Why should you attend:
Older dogs can learn. You can teach your dog to be a lovely, civilized animal. This class also teaches you and your dog how to communicate so you can teach him any behavior of which your dog is physically capable.

Tiny Dog Training Class

Tiny Dog Class: Saturday at 9:00am – 10:00am
Starts: Thursday – May 17
Ends: Thursday –  June 21

Cost: $100 for 6 class meetings

Exclusively for dogs UNDER 15 LBS

Age: Any

Temperament: Most.  Even reactive small dogs do better with dogs their own size.

What is taught:  Thru positive reinforcement, learn loose lead walking, sit, stay, come, dog to dog greeting, dog to human greeting, and how to properly socialize your dog with other dogs and humans.  We specifically address the challenges of getting a small dog to come on command, how to play with larger dogs, and what to do with any “snarky” behavior.

Why should you attend:  Small dogs are special and present special challenges.  It is particularily nice to let small dogs interact with each other.

What do you need to bring:  Dog, 6 ft  leash, collar or harness, excellent food treats
